I think 40483 is a club boat

Hi mark, topper 41582 belongs to me.

Odysseys tender, 2.8m white hulled rib is in the corner behind the bins, is that one you are trying to identify Marc? Chris.

Mark, sorry for the delay. I would know most of the boats and trailers in the boat park. I can meet with you ? next sat and explain what has happened. My mobile is 07860254038. Background .. Originally the sailing school only operated for 2 weeks and made little or no net profit. Myself, my son(Sen instructor) and a small but efficient sailing school committee took over the management and developed it into what it is today. The capacity was there and we had an excess of instructors but not sufficient boats. The main committee would only supply funds for repairs . We were donated 2 toppers by there owners and 1 was found by the McMullans in the bay and given to the club. Another member donated a good Laser2. Some members did buy older toppers and we helped refurbished them. The Sen Instructors did repairs and taught the up and coming instructors to do the same. New sails were bought and some boats professionally repaired. Eventually with the big profits, we were allowed to replace some of the fleet. McCready's brought the Viva's for demo but we were not allowed to purchase. Sadly the above practice has discontinued which accounts for a no of abandoned boats in poor condition .

Boxing Day Cycle

See below for details of our annual two-wheeled excursion on Boxing Day. Weather usually dictates that we cycle the Coast Road to Ballygally and back with groups formed from varying abilities, so all are welcome.

  • Leave the club at 11:00
  • Aim to return by 14:00
  • Soup and sandwiches
  • Roaring fire
  • Showers available
  • Bar open all day

Please note the cycle is not being run by CSBC and you are therefore responsible for your own safety

The committee would like to build up a database of potential volunteers for club events and occasions. If you feel you can volunteer for anything such as safety boat driving (must be suitably qualified), marshalling, barbequing, dinghy launching or anything at all that can help with the running of the club, then please contact or pass on your details to John Lowry (johnalowry@hotmail.co.uk). John will be coordinating volunteers over the summer months and any assistance no matter how small or short is greatly appreciated by everyone at the club. Many thanks, John.
