Dinghy Sailing

New Season

There is a great buzz around the club in anticipation of the first dinghy race of the season, which takes place in less than two weeks.

If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to resurrect the sailing gear, check the boat and prepare yourself for the 2010 season. There are unconfirmed reports of undercover tuning and sneaky practise, be sure not to miss out!

If you are new to the club or an old member wanting to get involved in the dinghy sailing, contact us here and we’ll compile a list of willing names, there is always someone looking for crew! There is also a real need for people to help out with rescue and race officer cover. You don’t need any experience to help out, so please either turn up on the day or let us know you are keen.

To try and make this season our busiest yet, we are in the process of assigning fleet captains who will be given the responsibility to try and get as many boats out as possible.

The years sailing fixtures can be found here.

Laser Training

James Farrell has kindly offered to provide FREE laser training to all club laser sailors on SATURDAY 3rd APRIL 2010.

This is a great opportunity to brush up on your skills for the forthcoming season and the laser Ulsters which take place in CSBC on the 8th & 9th May.
