The committee would like to build up a database of potential volunteers for club events and occasions. If you feel you can volunteer for anything such as safety boat driving (must be suitably qualified), marshalling, barbequing, dinghy launching or anything at all that can help with the running of the club, then please contact or pass on your details to John Lowry ( John will be coordinating volunteers over the summer months and any assistance no matter how small or short is greatly appreciated by everyone at the club. The Jets is a group of sailors from a cluster of sailing clubs based in and around the Solent, who train together. The clubs currently involved, pool their individual coaching days and the sailors travel between each club in turn. This year five clubs and thirty three sailors are involved.

Boxing Day Cycle


Following the success of last years boxing day cycle, we plan to run another this year, so if you fancy getting out on the bike and working off the Christmas turkey then check the details below:

  • Leave the club at 11:00
  • Aim to return by 14:00
  • Soup and sandwiches
  • Roaring fire
  • Showers available
  • Bar open all day

Please note the cycle is not being run by CSBC and you are therefore responsible for your own safety
