There is a work party organised for this Saturday 20th at 10.00 am.

Sailing in the club has settled into a steady routine:

  • Dinghy racing every Sunday, start gun 1230
  • Dinghy racing every Wednesday, start gun  1930
  • Cruiser racing every Tuesday, start gun 1930
  • Cruiser racing advertised Saturdays & Sundays

The Carnlough race is this coming weekend on Saturday.

Honda Youth RIB Challenge.

Well done to all those who took part in the Honda Youth RIB Challenge.

We had some great powerboat driving in tricky conditions.

The winner of each age group qualifies for the Regional Final at East Antrim Boat Club (Larne) on Saturday 9th May 2009!

The results were;

Conor McLaughlin 0 min 47 secs
T.J O’Neill 0 min 53 secs
Cillian Gilroy Vallely 1 min 10 secs
Owen Reddington 1 min 16 secs

Jack McCann 0 min 53 secs
Sean Ritson 1 min 0 secs
Eoin Ritson 1 min 5 secs
Joseph McCann 1 min 9 secs
Aidan Ritson 1 min 15 secs

Big congratulations to Jack and Conor who qualify for the Regional Final, where they could go on to the National Final in September at have the chance to win a RIB for the Club!!!

There is a possibilty of 2nd place in each age group also being able to take part in the Regional Final and I shall be in contact if this becomes available.
