    East Antrim Regatta

Last weekend saw 5 cruisers and 2 dinghies make the short trip round to Larne for their regatta.

Some great racing was had in lovely sunshine and great winds. There was some thoroughly enjoyable apres sailing in the bar, where we made a fair dent on Larne’s supply of rum. The rum must have prooved a bit too much for one particular crew who looked a bit sheepish the next morning whilst making their getaway.

We look forward to welcoming our neighbours to our regatta on the 24th & 25th July and we’ll try and find a way of slowing down Bambi.

    Laser Trailer Mix up

    May 10th, 2010

    Information below:

“At the end of Laser Ulsters in Cushendall on Sunday someone took my single Laser trailer and left behind their almost identical one.
The trailer left behind is a single Laser trailer manufactured by Rapide with green sticker displaying “R150C Laser2″ on left and right side of bar near the tow hitch.
The trailer taken is identical or similar but it has the name “OCallaghan” written in large faded black market on top of one of the curved metal wheel mudguards.
My trailer and ther trailer left behind were positioned just inside the Farm Shop pen to the right of gate on the grass.

The trailer type is the “Rapide Laser Gunwale Hung Trolley” displayed here

If you are the other half of this trailer mix up can you please contact me by mobile on 00353-86-8262205 or by email ciaran.hickey@ireland.com

    Thanks
